Indications & Clinical Applications
VEMDOXEX-100 is indicated for infections caused by susceptible organisms and as prophylaxis for malaria and leptospirosis.
- Atypical pneumonia (Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Legionella)
- Acne vulgaris (long-term)
- Rickettsial infections
- Lyme disease, leptospirosis
- Sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, NGU)
- Malaria prophylaxis (P. falciparum)
- Cholera, brucellosis

Warnings & Precautions
Contraindicated in pregnancy (Category D — teratogenic, dental staining in foetus), children under 8 years (permanent dental staining), severe hepatic impairment. Take with full glass of water, sit upright 30 min after dose to prevent oesophagitis. Photosensitivity — avoid prolonged sun exposure. Reduced efficacy with antacids, calcium, iron (separate by 2 hours).
