Clinical Use
Indications & Clinical Applications
TEVANAN-1000 is indicated for serious or severe infections caused by susceptible strains of methicillin-resistant staphylococci.
- Endocarditis (S. aureus, Streptococcus, Enterococcus)
- Septicaemia
- Bone infections, lower respiratory tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Pseudomembranous colitis (C. difficile) — oral route
- Empirical therapy in febrile neutropenia

Safety
Warnings & Precautions
Infuse slowly over at least 60 minutes to avoid Red Man syndrome. Monitor renal function and serum levels (target trough 15-20 mg/L for serious infections). Ototoxicity risk in renal impairment. Avoid concurrent nephrotoxic/ototoxic drugs.
