Indications & Clinical Applications
FARAMERO-1000 is indicated for the treatment of severe infections caused by susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, particularly in critically ill hospitalized patients.
- Severe pneumonia, including hospital-acquired and ventilator-associated pneumonia
- Complicated urinary tract infections
- Complicated intra-abdominal infections
- Bacterial meningitis (adults and pediatrics)
- Septicaemia
- Febrile neutropenia in cancer patients
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Gynaecological infections

Warnings & Precautions
Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics. Adjust dose in renal impairment. Monitor for Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea. Pregnancy Category B — use only if clearly needed. Avoid in patients with history of severe allergic reactions to carbapenems.
