BIOPANREL-40 is indicated when oral pantoprazole is not appropriate for acid-related conditions.
- Acute upper GI bleeding (peptic ulcer)
- Stress ulcer prophylaxis in ICU
- GERD when oral therapy not feasible
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
- Pre-anaesthetic acid prophylaxis

Warnings & Precautions
Long-term high-dose use linked to hypomagnesemia, vitamin B12 deficiency, increased fracture risk, C. difficile diarrhoea. Use lowest effective dose for shortest needed duration. Drug interactions: reduces clopidogrel activation (consider alternative).
